Although Anthony has obtained all of this success at such an early age, he has experienced a lot of bullying along the way and still does. Two years ago, Anthony’s Social Studies teacher, challenged his students to “Make the world a better place”. Anthony decided to hold a “Bowling Against Bullying” event. He raised and donated just under $500 to “Teens Against Bullying”. Last year, 1 day before Anthony’s 13th birthday, he did it again. Anthony’s anti bullying event raised $9,000 with the help of local businesses and corporate sponsors. The event included a live DJ, silent auction, 50/50 raffle, face painting, and other surprises. Anthony and the AG Dance Crew performed at the event as well. Anthony is presenting numerous local schools with checks from the proceeds of his Bowling event to help fund anti-bullying assemblies and educational programming.
Since the April 29th event was such a success, Anthony decided to have a third event in Nov. 2012 titled; “Bowling Against Bullying With The Stars”. Anthony’s efforts successfully raised over $10.000 to be used for Anti-Bullying Education and Awareness for local school districts.
Aside from his anti – bullying efforts, Anthony has just finished recording four new original songs with a producer in Chicago. Anthony also just returned from LA where he and his dancers were practicing for the upcoming Caroline Sunshine and Friends Concert Tour where he will be an opening artist. The tour kicked off on June 1, 2013 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.
Anthony has some pretty big goals for his 14th year. They include, recording more original music and releasing a new CD with a major record label. He of course also wants to tour the country and continue working on “Bowling Against Bullying”.
